Smoked Salmon and Prawn Tagliatelle

with Spinach and Creme Frâiche



Serves 4 - 6 
Preparation Time: 20 minutes 

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

 

A fabulous easy to prepare pasta dish to serve up to guests - looks and tastes great! 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients


 

  • 340g / 12 oz pack fresh tagliatelle 

  • 1 x 250g tub creme fraiche 

  • 225g / 8 oz smoked salmon trimmings 

  • Frozen pack of cooked large peeled prawns 

  • Sea Salt 

  • Freshly ground black pepper 

  • Dill (optional) 

  • Lemon 

  • 115g / 8 oz pack of baby spinach leaves 





AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO..... 
 

  1.     Cook the tagliatelle in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to the maker's               instructions. 
     

  2.     Put the creme fraiche into a saucepan and place over a low heat to melt. 
     

  3.     Add 3 tbs of the pasta water to the creme fraiche to create a sauce consistency. 
     

  4.     Add the smoked salmon, Dill (if using), seasoning and a squeeze of lemon juice. 
     

  5.     Drain the pasta and return to the pan. 
     

  6.     Add the spinach leaves, smoked salmon, prawns / seafood and together with the creme
        frâiche, stir through the pasta so the spinach begins to wilt. 

     

  7.     Serve immediately with a french dressed green salad and garlic bread.
